During our visit to Pievebovigliana, we stayed at the Farm Holiday “Sapori di Campagna”, which started an educational project called “Agrinido – L’Esperienza” in 2012. The term “Agrinido” refers to a nursery school in strict contact with nature and animals where is given much importance to their respect. This is the first ‘Agrinido’ in Le Marche Region, which welcomes children aged between one and three years.
Mrs Barbara guided us during our visit and we soon realized that this is a very innovative school. By following the Montessori educational approach and spending more time outdoors, the young guests learn all about nature’s rhythms and the principles of a healthy eating.
Our friend explained that each time of the year different activities are taught to children according to the current season: from mushrooms and chestnuts hunting in autumn, to the preparation of jams during summertime. In a nutshell: kids seed, water, harvest and turn raw materials into something new!
This experience is useful to learn to respect the environment and to appreciate and understand the importance of nature. It also teaches how to work together while rediscovering how using your senses.
Pievebovigliana, dear friends, is not only a nice town to visit – it is also a very active place that gives a great importance to the well-being of its citizens, starting from children.
We are really proud of this excellence, which takes pride in a Region sometimes still underestimated, even if so rich in beautiful and interesting places and exclusive facilities!
“Discover” it and…let yourself be captivated!
